Today I’m unboxing and testing the Seasir Mansory baitcasting reel — a reel I picked up at a budget price that might just compete with the big name brands.
The Seasir Mansory comes stock with a 7.3:1 gear ratio, 8.5kg of drag, two CNC-machined alloy spools, and hybrid ceramic bearings. In this video, I go one step further and upgrade it to full ceramic bearings to see just how far this reel can cast.
After spooling it up, I hit the water for a quick fishing trip to put it to the test. Spoiler: this reel performs WAY above its price point. I even managed to catch a spotted bay bass (spottie) and released it back into the bay.
