BFI Family Learning put together a fun day of activities in conjunction with the BBC Reel Histories team. This followed the successful series of programmes that were recently screened on BBC2 – presented by Melvyn Bragg – that showed the history of British life through archive film. At the BFI our event, which also tied in with the annual Family Learning Festival week, we provided opportunities to make family animation films, create a silent movie or make an archive film using your own photographs. I think you can see from this film that great fun was the order of the day! Jo – BFI Family Learning Co-ordinator. The music was kindly supplied (as is most of my film music) by free music maestro Kevin Macleod. The track used is Hustle and you can find more of Kevin’s music on his website www.incompetech.com
