This is one of the films created by families who brought in their own photos which were then turned into fun films using archive footage. Inspired by John Taylor’s wonderful film ‘Holiday’ – which you can watch at any of the BFI Mediatheques – London, Derby (Quad), Cambridge (Central Library) or Newcastle (Discovery Museum). The BBC Reel History Day followed the screening on BBC2 of archive films – Reel History series- which looked at life in Britain through archive film. Series presented by Melvyn Bragg.
