Part 2 – English Civil War re-enactment by The Taunton Garrison Living History Society, held at the Museum of Somerset 15th October 2011.

This video shows the Garrisons skills at loading and firing their Muskets and brandishing their Pikes, all to the sound of the drums of the Drum Major who also gives a history lesson in the role of the drummer in battle and siege.

Includes a good explanation of the history of the Garrison and the uniforms and weaponry and the women’s role in the wars their husband fought in.
