The Lazarus Heist is the story of notorious hackers the Lazarus Group, who have been breaking in all over the world, in all sorts of places – movie companies, banks, TV stations, even hospitals. They’re dangerous because they’re unpredictable. You never know where they’ll strike next, and they don’t seem to care about getting found out.
There are lots of cyber crime gangs, of course, but according to investigators, the Lazarus Group is different – they’re working for a nation-state, North Korea. Pyongyang has denied it’s involved.
The Lazarus Heist podcast is presented by cybercrime investigative journalist Geoff White and veteran foreign correspondent and renowned North Korea expert Jean Lee.
