Days after the Centre blocked the airing of the BBC documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a complaint was filed over the screening of the controversial series on the University of Hyderabad campus.
The documentary by the British national broadcaster, titled ‘India: The Modi Question’, was criticised for lopsided reporting of the Gujarat leadership during the 2002 riots. On Saturday, the I&B Ministry blocked the series on YouTube and YouTube links to the BBC documentary. Many documentaries and news reports have already been made about the Gujarat riots.
