Some people say Cleopatra was white because her family came from Greece. They also say she learned Greek things and liked being Greek more than being Egyptian. But other people say Cleopatra was black or had African ancestors. They show old pictures and statues of her with dark skin and African looks, like big lips and a wide nose. Also, some scientists who made a TV show in 2009 found the bones of Cleopatra’s sister, Arsino. They said the bones show that their mother was African.
