Arthur can’t help but tease his servant for being a coward, yet we sense his unease as he steps forward to investigate. Arthur pulls back the curtain to reveal… nothing but shadows. Both master and servant breathe a sigh of relief. The young Prince makes fun of Merlin for allowing himself to look spineless but as usual Merlin gives as good as he gets. Their sparring is cut short as something moves in the shadows once more. Merlin wonders if Arthur is scared of the monsters they face and the Prince admits that he is. Perhaps more so than Merlin himself…
