BBC One’s Film 2011 featured our Battle Royale Midnight Movie event as part of their feature on the phenomena. Co-director of MMX Associates, Michael Pierce talks about the revival alongside commentary from Danny Leigh, Alex Cox and Jane Giles. Directed by Doran Azouelos, the piece includes footage from Michael B. Clifford’s Scala documentary and clips from ‘Eraserhead’, ‘El Topo’ and ‘Battle Royale’.
