Battlefield Academy is a military strategy game that Playniac (http://www.playniac.com ) created for BBC History to accompany Peter and Dan Snows Battlefield Britain TV series. The game spans 2000 years of history and contains over 50 hours of gameplay.
The game clocked up a quarter of a million plays over its launch weekend and has proved so popular it will soon be appearing on to the PC, Sony PSP and the Nintendo DS.
