It will come as little or no surprise to many of us, to find that the BBC have cast various people of colour as important characters in their new version of a classic novel by Charles Dickens. Jaggers, the lawyer, is played by a Jamaican pop singer and Estelle by a woman who is partly Mauritian and partly Thai.
