It’s a long way from Winchester in southern England to joining the Nollywood glitterati on the red carpets of Lagos. But it’s a leap that former air hostess Claire Edun is just about to make. And what makes her all the more unique, she speaks fluent pidgin English – Nigeria’s local dialect. Her first film, called ATM, comes out this Friday. Now known as Princess Oyinbo she’s about to take one of the world’s biggest movie industries by storm. The BBC caught up with the princess as she got ready for her first premier and gave us a few lessons in pidgin.
