Alexander was the ruler of Macedonia from 350 to 323 BC. He found the company of a teacher like Aristotle. At an early age, he conquered the city-states of Greece as far as Egypt and Persia. He also conquered many other empires, after which his rule spread from Greece to the borders of India. At the age of only twenty-two, he set out to conquer the world. It was his father’s dream and he had completed the preparations for it but his enemies killed him. Now the responsibility fell on Alexander to somehow fulfill his father’s mission. Alexander was twenty years old at the time of his death. But he was fortunate in that he got the rulership of Macedonia without any difficulty. Otherwise, the rule of that time was that as soon as the king died, battles for the throne would begin and everyone who had the slightest chance of reaching the throne would participate in this battle. Alexander was the only son of his father, and there was no other claimant to Macedonian rule at the time. After being somewhat satisfied with the north and west, Alexander looked towards the east and saw the vast empire of Iran. This empire spread from the Mediterranean Sea to India and covered millions of miles. It also had rivers and mountains. There were deserts and lakes too. Therefore, there was everything that is necessary to make any area prosperous. This was the reason why the Iranian empire had the status of half of the world, if not the whole. People of almost every color and every race lived here.
