Coverage of Brighton v Man City starts on BBC Two at 12:15, with kick-off at 12:30

After an exciting weekend of FA Cup quarter-finals, the Women’s Super League returns with the stakes high at both ends of the table.

Champions Chelsea welcome title rivals Arsenal to Stamford Bridge in a match you can listen to live on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra.

Elsewhere, Tottenham host Leicester City at Brisbane Road, with both sides having just reached the FA Cup semi-finals for the first time.

Here is how you can watch every Women’s Super League game this weekend.

All kick-off times are GMT

Chelsea v Arsenal – Friday, 19:00 – Sky Sports

Chelsea return to league action having taken two huge strides closer to a historic quadruple by reaching the final of the League Cup and the semi-finals of the FA Cup in successive matches.

Having also booked their place in the League Cup final, Arsenal will be eyeing a chance to reassert their place in the title race as they travel to Stamford Bridge.

The Gunners ran out 4-1 winners in the reverse fixture at Emirates Stadium in December, and another victory on Friday would take them level on points with Emma Hayes’ side at the top of the table.

However, a win for the Blues would effectively end their London rivals’ title aspirations for another season.

Everton v Aston Villa – Saturday 13:00 – FA Player

Everton will head into their home match with Aston Villa having narrowly lost their FA Cup quarter-final to Chelsea on Sunday.

Brian Sorensen’s side put in a battling display against the holders at Walton Hall Park, only to be undone by a superb goalscoring cameo by United States forward Catarina Macario.

Aston Villa also come into this fixture fresh off cup disappointment. Carla Ward’s side were heavily beaten by Arsenal in their League Cup semi-final on 6 March, conceding four first-half goals.

The game promises to be a cagey affair, with both sides struggling for consistency and goals.

Liverpool v West Ham United – Sunday 12:00 – FA Player

After missing the chance to reach a first FA Cup final since 2017, Liverpool will be happy to see the return of WSL action, a competition in which they have proved the surprise package this season.

Matt Beard’s side currently sit level on points with Manchester United in fifth place with a real chance to break into the top four.

Without any involvement in either cup competition this week, West Ham United head into this match following a dramatic late draw against Manchester United on 3 March.

Rehanne Skinner’s team have hit form in recent weeks, picking up seven points in their past four games to move six clear of relegation rivals Bristol City.

Manchester United v Bristol City – Sunday 12:00 – FA Player

Manchester United have come under pressure in recent months having struggled to reach the same heights as last season.

A 4-0 win over Brighton to reach the FA Cup semi-finals for a second successive year will have no doubt proved a great tonic with uncertainty around the side and their manager, Marc Skinner.

A win this weekend is a must, as local rivals Liverpool hunt them down in the race for fourth place.

For Lauren Smith and Bristol City, the questions around their ability to survive in the top flight continue to mount, with the 7-3 defeat by Brighton leaving them six points adrift at the foot of the table.

The Robins are now winless in 14 games in all competitions, a run that stretches back to the start of November.

Brighton & Hove Albion v Manchester City – Sunday 12:30 – BBC Two and BBC iPlayer

Fresh from an FA Cup dismantling at the hands of Manchester United, Brighton will be hoping that the Red Devils’ neighbours are in a more forgiving mood when they arrive at Broadfield Stadium on Sunday.

That is highly unlikely to be the case, though, as Gareth Taylor’s side will be aiming to get back on track after suffering double cup disappointment themselves.

From a Treble quest to just one trophy left to fight for, now the League and FA Cups are off the table, the Citizens will be looking to make a statement as their two biggest title rivals go head to head in London.

Tottenham Hotspur v Leicester City – Sunday 14:00 – FA Player

Robert Vilahamn’s Tottenham came back from the brink of FA Cup elimination against Manchester City. Captain Beth England scored a late leveller in normal time before the side held their nerve to win through on penalties.

They have been similarly impressive at times in the Women’s Super League this season, and will hope they can keep building momentum throughout the remainder of the campaign.

Leicester enjoyed a more routine passage to the final four, with Jutta Rantala’s double ensuring that they went through at the expense of Liverpool.

The Foxes will be aiming to continue their success on their travels by returning to winning ways in the league at Brisbane Road.
