This is the BBC News ident used during the late 1980’s and into the early 90’s. In my version, I’ve replaced the original audio with a cleaner stereo version. This ident was originally used during the time of Margaret Thatcher’s Conservative government. The ident was nicknamed the “Tory Tower Of Power” because of its alleged “sinister” look and feel !
