The richest sports league in the world, the National Football League – which governs American football, wants to be part of the Olympics.

It’s campaigning to have a shorter, non-contact form of the game – known as flag football – to be included at the 2028 Los Angeles Games.

But what is flag football? Mike Carlson – an American football pundit and broadcaster – told Newshour’s Audrey Brown more.
