Over 25,000 England teams to face Tonga were selected by BBC Sport readers and on the whole, they agreed with Eddie Jones.
But readers were slightly more optimistic than Jones about fly-half Marcus Smith’s ability to bounce back from injury.
Smith has been named on the bench for Saturday’s match after a minor leg injury kept him out of several training sessions this week.
Captain Owen Farrell starts at fly-half, but 91% of readers wanted Smith to take the starting 10 shirt.
Readers had Farrell at inside centre instead of Manu Tuilagi, but other than that chose the same backline as Eddie Jones.
In the forwards, readers wanted to see Courtney Lawes play in the second row rather than the back row as Jones prefers.
A solid 53% wanted Alex Dombrandt at number eight, with Tom Curry and Sam Underhill alongside him in the back row.
But Curry has been chosen by Jones at eight with Lawes and Underhill the flankers and Dombrandt on the bench.
