Great Britain’s men have qualified for the next stage of the 2023 Basketball World Cup after group opponents Belarus were removed by governing body Fiba.
With three teams set to qualify, Greece and Turkey will automatically join Great Britain in the next stage.
GB were due to play against Belarus twice at the end of June after their February games were postponed.
Belarus were removed by Fiba over their support for the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, who have also been banned.
GB still have to play away against Greece on 30 June and at home against Turkey on 3 July, with both results counting towards the next phase of qualification.
Belarus, the bottom seeds in the group, had managed a win against Turkey and could still have qualified for the second phase.
