Flynn-Dhanjal has won nine and drawn one of his 10 professional fights to date as he prepares to tackle Newcastle fighter Vuong on 13 April.
The super-featherweight’s previous two fights were against the tough Kane Baker, who he beat in their first meeting before a controversial draw in their rematch.
Flynn-Dhanjal dropped Baker in the second round but was deducted a point in the 10th with the fight scored 94-94.
Vuong, 21, provides a different test with a six-year age gap between the two fighters.
The pair shared their distaste for each other at the fight announcement with more pushing and shoving.
Vuong has won all four of his professional fights, with three knock-outs.
But Flynn-Dhanjal, who has previously fought on the undercard of an Anthony Joshua fight, feels his opponent’s inexperience could work in his favour.
“He knows he’s in a real fight; he hasn’t been in a proper fight yet,” he added.
“Amateur or pro, he’s not been in a fight with someone like me. He’s going to learn that the hard way.”
