Bedford basketball coach Lance Haggith has been named the BBC Sports Unsung Hero for 2010 at the Sports Personality of the Year show in Birmingham. He coaches at all levels including disabled, and disadvantaged children also including X offenders and X servicemen to help make sport accessible to all regardless of ability, disability or background. He is the founder of Sports Traider which helps youngsters engage in sport through recycling unwanted sportswear and equipment
