Leinster have confirmed that all their players and staff have tested negative for Covid-19 in the wake of the postponement of their scheduled Pro14 game with Munster on Saturday.
The province hope to reschedule the Thomond Park fixture, which was called off in line with coronavirus guidelines, for early in the new year.
In a statement Leinster said: “We can confirm that all outstanding Covid-19 PCR Testing results have now been returned and all players and staff have tested negative.”
“Leinster Rugby would like to thank the Pro14 Rugby Medical Advisory Group and Munster Rugby for their help and understanding and we look forward to the rescheduled game early in the new year.”
The inter-provincial derby was called off on Christmas Eve as Leinster indicated they were “investigating the outcomes of some of the results” from their latest round of Covid-19 testing.
