Hundred MVP rankings
Welsh Fire may be out of the competition but Qais Ahmad is still top of the MVP rankings.
Close behind him, in second place is Northern Superchargers leg-spinner Adil Rashid, who took 2-28 as his side hammered the Manchester Originals after scoring the competition’s first 200 total on Thursday.
In third place is Birmingham Phoenix’s Adam Milne.
The same three players occupy the top three sports in the women’s MVP rankings, though England all-rounder Natalie Sciver has the slimmest lead possible now.
Trent Rockets’ Sciver is 0.1 points ahead of Oval Invincibles’ Dane van Niekerk in second, while Northern Superchargers’ Jemimah Rodrigues remains third.
The CricViz Most Valuable Player model is a performance evaluation tool for limited-overs cricket and The Hundred. The model ranks player performance in batting, bowling and fielding on a single scale. The model takes consideration of the venue being played at and the match situation to more accurately reflect the effect of each player on the final score.
