Double World Cup-winning South African second row RG Snyman will leave Munster at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old’s time in Limerick has been hindered by injuries since sustaining ACL damage on his debut after joining the province in 2020.
Snyman, currently out with a shoulder injury, played an important role from the bench in the Springboks’ World Cup success last month.
Munster did not say which club Snyman is joining when announcing his exit.
He only played six times last season for Munster as they secured the United Rugby Championship title, but his contract will not be renewed when it expires in the summer.
However, Munster have announced that Jean Kleyn, John Hodnett and Liam Coombes have all signed contract extensions with the province.
Kleyn, who also won the World Cup with South Africa last month, and Hodnett have both signed two-year extensions with Coombes signing a one-year deal.
