During 13th and 14th Centuries, Icelandic people put pen to paper (or rather quill to vellum) on a series of traditional stories that had previously been passed down orally, through the generations.
Called the ‘Old Norse Sagas’, these tales of heroes, warriors and epic adventures provide amazing insights into daily life that still seem highly relevant today.
