Two men have died after being found shot in a car at an industrial estate.
The men were found critically injured inside the vehicle near units off Moor Street in Brierley Hill, Dudley, just before 15:30 BST on Wednesday.
They died at the scene. A post-mortem examination is due to take place.
West Midlands Police have launched a double murder investigation and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward. Officers believe the men were shot shortly after 13:00.
This is the third shooting in the Black Country within three days.
On Monday, shots were fired at a college classroom in Wolverhampton with a bullet going through a window while students were being taught inside.
Police said the bullet hit a wall at the Paget Road campus of the City of Wolverhampton College, 10 miles (16km) from Moor Street.
On Tuesday night, a man was shot and remains in a serious condition in hospital after what officers said was believed to be a “targeted attack” in Cradley Heath.
The victim, in his 20s, was found in a car in Upper High Street, three miles (5km) from Moor Street.
West Midlands Police said it was not commenting on whether there was any link between the shootings.
